About Me

Hi Everyone

My name is Courtney

I recently became a Learn to Swim instructor in April last year 2023 with Family Aquatics. After signing my daughter up to swimming lessons, each week at her lesson, I took on board all instruction and knowledge on how to help her improve. This caught Lorna’s eye and asked if I thought about becoming an instructor as she thought I had the potential to help others like she helped me.

I used to work in childcare for many years before I had my daughter and I thoroughly enjoy working and giving the gift of education to children and watching them thrive in different areas of life.

I am both Teacher and Water Safety and Infant and preschooler qualified. Although I teach both areas, and since then i feel like my calling is our Babies through to Toddlers as I feel like I have helped to kick start their swimming journey in the right direction and given them the correct tools and knowledge so they can further their journey.
